The Griffith’s are an elderly couple who live on a limited income and have been ill, especially over the past 2 years.  Mrs. Griffith recently had both knees replaced, and Mr. Griffith suffers from COPD and Asthma.  Their back yard that borders an alley had become overgrown with weeds the size of trees!  The dense growth had became a trash dumping spot and also caused security issues as the alley behind the house was covered.  A group of N2N Volunteers showed up bright and early Saturday morning and helped clear out the Griffith’s yard.  The group worked hard, but also took time to talk with and get to know this wonderful family who constantly give to their community.

The group truly bonded during this project and the bond continues to this day…  can you say POISON IVY!
