Around 9:30am the volunteers start to arrive. Not long after, the food truck pulls up and the madness ensues!! So many hard working volunteers unloading and moving the food inside, stacking it meticulously next to the “assembly line” so that not one motion is wasted. Things only seem to settle down for prayer, and then the assembly line kicks in full speed. Boxes are packed and stacked at a crazy pace! Soon the line of seniors coming to pick up their box will stretch out the door. Cars are loaded with boxes to deliver to seniors that can’t make the drive. Every month nearly 500 boxes are filled and delivered to senior who once took care of us.
